You'd think with a knee injury and ordered rest, I'd have whipped out a few of these wee things. I have found that pain and pain meds are not conducive to doing much of anything, let alone knitting. However, I was somewhat lucid this weekend, so I managed to wrap this one up finally:

Okay, granted. They're the mini hoodie sweaters for cell phones, but I'm going to be knitting up another half-dozen or so in the next few weeks. A veritable sweater knitting binge!

Huh? Oh, yeah. This is the project I'm using it for, sort of as I'm going to convert it over into a regluar scarf, not a shawl, and then send it to a friend in the U.K.

Monday Doesn't Usually Equal Shiny

These beautiful beads are going into this project in the very near future. I just have to dig through my yarn stash and find my needle threader...

Busy Week - Oh Shiny!

I am so happy to see the hind-end of this past week disappear down the road. Too busy, but it seems that would be my fault. Out having fun with friends and doing a few extra errands after work while the weather is wonderful. (Winter will be here soon enough and all I'll do is hold up inside until civilized weather returns.)

A friend received her mini-hoodie for her cell phone and posted photos:












To refresh your memories, this is the yarn I used in the pattern:





I'm so glad that I cabled those sleeves. I think the next one that I do will be cabled throughout the sweater and the sleeves.

And I've been given some beautiful blue beads, so I'm going to give this pattern a shot.

I can't say enough how much I enjoy this cell phone hoodie pattern. It's simple and easy to use with just about any yarn. This is the second one I'm so close to finishing, but I've got to get some sleep for work tomorrow...












And since I abhor boredom, in all areas of my life, I decided to do cabled sleeves on this version.






The next question is do I really want to put a front pocket on it or not...
