Emily Dickinson said it all. Thank you for all the joy Solomon has given us through your blog.

I told you last night, I don't want to sound contrite. I love you, Im here for you.

Thanks for sharing Sol with me, Biblio and Ditzy. We all miss him.

I'm glad you found some comfort in the Emily Dickinson quote. Its a favorite of mine.

Jo told me of your loss. My condolences to you. He was a beautiful dog and he looks so cuddly.

I am so sorry for your loss. He knew you loved him! Take care of yourself and, having lost my beloved dog Aubie this year, know that there is someone out here that shares your sorrow.

Roggey,
I know what you are going through right now and I also know that, while cyber-hugs and happy thoughts help, nothing is going to replace your furry, funny boy. It will hurt and you will miss him for a long time. You will have dreams where he is running and playing with you and you will find things around the house after you have supposedly put away all of his things that remind you of him and the hurt and pain of not having him there comes crashing back down. I want you to know, and I say this with the deepest sincerity, that it will get easier and all of your memories will get easier to handle. You will never really forget what he meant to you and nor should you, because he was your friend, your companion, and more than can be expressed by mere words. Even though we've never met in person and I can't rush over to comfort you with hugs and alcohol, I do want you to know that you can email me or leave a comment on my blog any time you need someone to reassure you that it will really be okay. Take your time, experience your grief, and know that people who wouldn't even be able to pick you out of a crowd will do whatever we can to help you through this and anything else that may come your way, be it triumph or difficulty. I've probably gone on too long for now but I wanted you to know that you as well as Solomon have made a difference in my life and I'm so very happy to have had the pleasure of meeting you both. I feel fortunate that I had the pleasure to meet (via web) Crash Gordon and you. I send you my deepest sympathies and also my happy thoughts that you will find a source of joy to carry you through this and every other difficult time in your life.
