I'm sometimes too clever for my own good, and usually scare myself with such cleverness.
Mystery knitting one - and it ain't what is pictured on the paper it's sitting on...
And mystery knitting two - so fucking clever I'm going to fall over from the strain of not talking about it!

Yarn Comfort
Holiday weekend here in the US, and Tank's sunning herself:
It's been quiet here for a bit as I went on vacation a few weeks ago with the new sexy yarn. I did approximately 38 minutes of knitting during vacation. However, I had several hours on the plane which resulted in this progress for the tube scarf:
Since it's a lace weight wool/silk blend, I doubled it up, and I'm doing a seed stitch in the round. I'm surprised I like this color as much as I do. And yet, I may end up sending it to a good home when I'm done as the colors aren't really me.
Meanwhile, these Malabrigo Arroyo arrived while I was out west being a sloth. The Coffee Toffee colorway is for a project I have in mind for a friend. Then I've taken the Prussian Blue for myself (try to restrain your mock cries of shock).
Since it's just 19 days away from the first day of fall, I pulled out the Jacob Sheep shawl to work on when I go visit a knitting friend this afternoon:
Later this evening, there will quite a bit of this going on:
